Is it me or does it seem that the majority of people that have posted in this thread read more educational than anything else? I was more expecting stuff like fantasy, mystery, some classics, maybe a biography or two. I find it interesting.
I'm still currently reading the ninth book in the Wheel of Time. It's a huge series so It's taken quite some time to get this far and I still have a few more to go.

There's some smart folks here at Pixies..... makes me wonder how I got to be one. lol.
I just started Michael J. Foxes new book, 'Always Looking Up - The Adventures of an Incurable Optimist.' He says the title refers not only to his outlook on life but is also a short joke since his whole life has been spent looking at elbows and belly buttons of tall people. lol. |

He is short, he is funny, and I saw an interview with him after he really started having problems with his disease, he seemed very upbeat.

I just finished the first "book" in the Night World Series by L.J. Smith. It was 3 stories in one; and there are 4 more books, so far, in the series. It's another one of those vampire/witch/werewolf/shapeshifter books geared towards teens like Twilight was originally.

The reason I don't often post what novels I read is because I read through novels pretty quickly, and I don't always see them as the most interesting thing I am reading at the moment (as I always have several books on the go at once).
Right now the most interesting book I am reading is Jewels: A Secret History by Victoria Finlay.

I understand going through books quickly. I used to read a 6-700 page novel in three days or so. I just find it interesting that so many, when they do post, are reading more nonfiction than fiction.

Now I prob look like a real egghead, just finished (sort of) "The Panic of 1907".
