My Big FAT................
Greek Wedding....tickled me!
Just curious if your family is big, close-knit, gregarious, etc. like the Portokalos, or smaller, more reserved, like the Millers?????
Are you a kissy, huggy, family? Mr. Lilith went through culture shock when he went from his large but conservative family to mine. I think they scared him, he was not used to so many touchy feely people!

An aunt brought her soon to be husband to my families Christmas dinner. He is an only child so as all the food was being grabbed and gobbled, he was in shock. He was used to passing food around the table not having it stampeded.

My dad comes from a big (8 children) family with a weird sense of humor so water fights, food fights, etc (between my dad's siblings so the 50-70 age group) are common..
My mom's family is smaller and much more reserved, but still good sense of humor just less physical.
I guess it's a good example of town family vs farm family

I come from a larger family than most of the people I know....5 children and my parents. Most of my friends families are smaller......2 children and the parents. Hubbies immediate is like this but he has an extended family with step-brothers and their wives and children! Usually at any given event we are all saying hi and bye and kissing and hugging and talking in smaller groups but migrating to the next arrival or the next to leave.
We are the kissy, huggy family! We talk loud and all at the same time....but we never miss a subject! Surprised?? I knew you would be!!!!
LMAO kleclere!....We call that the "Boarding House Reach"! Didn't know there was any other way!
