The only low point of our event was a call from one of our members that was NOT able to be with us and TRULY not for lack of trying or wanting to be. She had a passport requirement that was well within the time frame given but it turned into a bureaucratic labyrinth with being a 'naturalized' Canadian for almost her entire life. (almost being the key word ) We got our call on Friday afternoon from outside the Passport Office where she could only hear the pasted echoes of "we should have it by then". She told us she had even left her dog with the neighbor that was going to be taking care of him and had her suitcase in the car, hoping the effects of 'not really being ready' would be canceled. This was not a happy moment for her after the oil change and tune-up nor for us. I hope it doesn't show for another month or two because if it is there today or tomorrow, there are a bunch of us that might want to do bad things to a government building.
