There's definately a buttload of water around here! The river is running high, and there's some water in low lying areas, but around here...it seems to be dissipating so far. We'd be in a lot more trouble were there a few more inches on the way though.

We've got water in the basement at home too.

Thanks, IowaMan. I tried calling her but just got the answering machine. Good to know she's okay. Too bad they can't ship some of the water by pipeline to the west coast and refill resevoirs or contribute to the irrigation needs.

Water in the basement, tree branches down, one wood pile blew over, found we had a leaky window in rental property and wind lifted the flashing around the chimney and had a little leak... other than that alls well here.

At least no news of anyone having major, major problems. Boy, some of the news reporting has shown some areas to really be hurting from all the water. Keeping fingers crossed, just in case.
