With all the rain and flooding, here's hoping all our Pixies in the Northeast are safe and sound. Check in when you can. We're praying for you!

I heard from IAKG a bit earlier today and she's ok. Thought she was going to need an ark but she's doing ok. :D

There's definately a buttload of water around here! The river is running high, and there's some water in low lying areas, but around here...it seems to be dissipating so far. We'd be in a lot more trouble were there a few more inches on the way though.

We've got water in the basement at home too. :(

Thanks, IowaMan. I tried calling her but just got the answering machine. Good to know she's okay. Too bad they can't ship some of the water by pipeline to the west coast and refill resevoirs or contribute to the irrigation needs. :(

It's freezing cold... I really should venture to the basement and check for moisture... eh, what fun is that? I just wish it would get warm.

Can you run a load of laundry while you're down there? :D

Rain, rain, rain and yet more rain!!!!

Water in the basement, tree branches down, one wood pile blew over, found we had a leaky window in rental property and wind lifted the flashing around the chimney and had a little leak... other than that alls well here. :)

At least no news of anyone having major, major problems. Boy, some of the news reporting has shown some areas to really be hurting from all the water. Keeping fingers crossed, just in case.
