Xmas feast?
What sorta things do you have on your Xmas table....
We don't really do the traditional thing anymore, tend to just have a BBQ, salads, kabana/cheese, lollies thing.
Just curious

We will be serving a roast turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, sauerkraut, creamed spinach, carrots, and rolls. One of the sisters brings the wine.

Traditional turkey and all the trimmings, but also a vegetarian side for my daughter. This year it is Spinach and Feta Cheese pie. We have mashed and roast potatoes with loads of veggies.I also make my dressing in a crockpot so she can eat it too, tastes great and lots to go around....and home made dessert. This year Black Forest trifle. She brings the wine.

I have not gotten there yet. Not sure what I will make. Most likely turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, lots of veggies cooked and in salads. I'll make a pie of some kind. Maybe pecan.

For some reason, that brings to mind the absolute best political bumper sticker I've ever seen:
"I feed on the flesh of the living. And I vote!"
Santa just better be careful coming down the chimney 'round here.

(You must be a politican )
I GO to diner now but while my diner host was growing up we did the traditional dinners for each holiday. Start the New Year with ribs and sauerkraut, ham at Easter, the turkey on Thanksgiving and goose for Christmas. (and it's not 'greasy' when cooked right)
