The Thief, The Cook, His Wife, and Her Lover (definately a bad movie!)
Johnny Mnemonic
and probably the worst movie I've ever seen.....
Being John Malkovich :bang:

I'm sorry, but I just could not get in to Being John Malkovich. I tried...right up to the closing credits I tried. Not every movie I watch is superficial, so I know I'm capable of enjoying one with content. ha ha

Malkovich malkovich malkovich... I liked that one. I also like Master and Commander. Oh well.
A recent ones that I was on the fence about was Sky Captain... (etc). I did not like the story line at all really, but I sat through the thing (twice! as I got dragged along again) and could not get over the awesome backdrop work that they did. They really got the art decco (?) buildings and stuff done very very well in CGI. That alone redemed it in my book.
As for ones I did not like at all, I agree with Stepford Wives and for the life of me could not get into I, Robot (might have something to do with the fact that I have read it before and was influenced by that?).

So many rotten movies so litle time. I can open my window and smell HOLLYWOOD cranking out their dreck.A couple of the worst movies I had seen recently was: Bertilucci's The Dreamers and a real gem called: The Swimming Pool.A close runner up was so bad,I even forgot the name.It was about a guy that kept flashing back to an incedent in his childhood.I'll agree on how bad The Thief,Cook,Wife and Lover was bu there was a silver lining in it.Helen Miren.I know, she is an older lady but my God,@(&^$#%@*^^......If you wan to see her at her best, she played the lead roll in Calendar Girls.
