I'm just doing my research . . . it looks like I'm getting awfully close to surgery . . .

I've got an appointment on the 26th with one of the best surgeons in Toronto to get this bloody knee fixed (for those of you who don't know, I 'broke' the most important ligament in my left leg playing soccer last year- the anterior cruciate ligament).

I'm reading internet boards about the injury and it's scary but good. I know my leg will be better afterwards but I'm scared about the time it will take to heal . . .

surgery stories, anyone?

I know it's not a serious injury but my knee is missing its important 'balancer' and getting surgery will help prevent arthritis.

I guess I associate Pixies and my ACL because it 'disappeared' around the same time I joined here. I still get PMs from people wondering if it's fixed . . .

So, surgery might be within the next few months and I LOVE YOU GUYS!
