Several people have mentioned wanting to get together to say goodbye and to toast Skipthisone *(not a chance)*.

We are going to get together in the chatroom at 10 PM EST on July 7th.

Bring a glass (or 489539485792347) of your favorite drink or I would suggest tequila shots (his weakness, especially lapped off some willing victim) or *gag* Redbull & Vodka (his recent drink of choice).

Please come share your stories and sorrows in honor of our beloved friend.

I make no promises but Sister^DoMeGood may be officiating...ask me about it then.

I can't wait. I think he'd love for us all to be together.

i knew very little of skip but what i did know was all good. i am sorry for everyones loss, i know how close you become as a comunity/family at a site like this. there is another board i belong to where many of us have been friends for years and have annual get togethers for the members farther away.

Would love to be there, but I'm not sure if Lou and I can make it......what time is that exactly in GMT? I have a feeling it's going to be the middle of the night, but if it turns out to be early in the morning, perhaps we could set our alarm and join you guys. We'd be willing to make the effort for Skip.

I'll be there if I have use of the computer at that time. Today is Cabrylla's day off and I generally let her have the comp as much as she wants it on her days off since she rarely has time for it when she's working.

I had gremlins and had to reformat, too. Glad to chat with the posse of Skipper friends.

It's been a long night. Much love to all of you (so many...the most ever in chat) who came to say goodbye. And even more love to those of you who tried but could not get in.

He loved us here. We accepted him and took what he gave and gave what we could. *shrug*

I was at a meeting until late and then having to get up at 3AM ... called it a night when I got home so missed the chat. Wish I could have been there. Glad for all of you that could be there.

I'm so sorry I wasn't able to be there for this...over the last few days, I've talked with several of you, sort of "mini-wakes" for my friend. Thanks to all of you...you know who you are and how special you are to me.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it last night. But all of you who were there, and Skip, of course were in my thoughts all evening.

Looking quickly at the 'chat stats'....

59 nicks were in chat over the last 2 days.

I think the majority of them were there last night for Skip. :)
