WB Steph,

WB Steph. Said that in a couple of other places, but posting here makes it official! :D

Sure glad it went well for you. There were a lotta' prayers from this end. (You didn't get asked about grinning now, did you?)

Steph 10-25-2003 08:51 AM

LOL I wasn't grinning at all, DB :) Pervs :) :)

Cowgirl, expect a PM about knee surgeries coming your way! What did you have done?

I haven't had any painkillers in almost 12 hours but I'm going to start bending this unwieldy beast soon. You might hear my screams soon!

But seriously, I can't believe how much pain I'm not in (just the usual pain from reading PF's bad jokes but what do you expect?).

I also said many a thank you to Canadian health care and to the nurses - their jobs can really suck! Because I had an IV hooked up to me, they had to help me go to the washroom - how boring is that!?!

quisath 10-25-2003 10:10 AM

If I was there I'd make you forget about that knee. ;)

On the serious side...........I've had the operation and when I had it done back in the early 70s it was not as refined as it is now. Just let TIME takes it course. You'll do fine Sweetie..........that I have no doubt. (get off the Pain Killers as soon as Possible though) (((((((((((Steph))))))))))) Joo my TOUGH COWGIRL!!!!!!!!

LixyChick 10-25-2003 10:28 AM

So glad you are back Steph! Hope all goes well with your recovery! Father-in-law had it done and he now says it's one of the best things that he's ever done (he don't know about Pixies..do he?..LOL!) Don't rush the recovery hun...just do EXACTLY what you are suppose to be doing and you'll be just great! Happy pervin!

That explains why you invited me to stop over and said you’d like to hold me. I told you I’m not going to be part of your therapy. I’ve been working at getting you OUT of MY therapy sessions since I met you.

LOL- It sounds like it's gone well babe.:) Glad to hear the discomfort level is to the point where you can decide when and how much you need. Just keep kicking. My ass will be here.;)

To answer your question about what happen to cause me to have 4 knee operations: The first 2 were the result of my Military Service in Southeast Asia.

30 years later I stepped in a hole the wrong way and tore everything inside them all over again. I had surgery on the right one before they realized that I had torn them both up. So I had to go back and have the left one repaired too.

My best wishes and prayers will be with you and I hope that you are out running and playing again real soon!! The therapy is tough and I used to get really frustrated with it, but sticking it out has paid off. If you need someone to lean on and gripe to I'll be around.

I should get on the boards more but some times I just really don't know what to say. I don't want to come off as a totally dirty old man, just a horny one!!

Get in here Sam! I have the DOM plate on my door, so not to worry.:D You can tell I need a replacement ……………… again.;)

(but be warned! The dragon lady had nothing on this one:eek: )

Steph 10-26-2003 06:14 PM

A DOM = dominant sign?

Shaddup, PF. I'm sweet! (That's the painkillers talking)

Cheers Grumble
