...what's the worst stink you've ever encountered? yer walkin around and turn the corner into a fiercely putrid wall of funk that smells like somebody injected sulfur into some ass, burned it, pissed on it, burned it again, then covered it with pig shit... then burned it again. mine would hafta be a dogfood plant in the summertime. *cringe/shudder/wince combo* there are no words.

those are all bad ones and I agree with them, but just to add a little different vein here -- they used to transport raw diesel feul through the town I grew up in -- you could smell it still minutes after they were long gone. AND of course there's always skunk!

I used to work for a group home. Four men with autism, let's just say they didn't have control of themselves all the time. It was the worst smell, but one of the most rewarding jobs ever

Skunk is high on my list...as well as a pig farm on a hot summer day..PPpppeeeeewwwwwwiiiiieeeee!!!!! Used to have to drive past a HUGE pig farm every summer when taking my boys to Boy Scout Camp. Finally getting a car with a working AC was a reall blessing!!!

My Birthday - A Fantasy

The worst smell that I have ever encountered was one that came from the apartment complex dumpster in which I lived. ((Lucky me)) I had the parking spot right beside it. I would run out of my apartment hop in my little VW Rabbit roll down the windows and floor it around town trying to get the damn smell out of my car. About 2 days later coming home from my night club job about 4 am, the driveway was blocked with police cars and an ambulance. I pulled up to witness them pulling a hooker dead and bloated from the dumpster. Needless to say the worst smell ever and I moved the next week. Still sometimes have nightmares about it. BTW also ended up moving out of that city too!

For me its a combo of the sewage pipes downtown and the chicken processing plant....those two combined with the heat of summer and you get out of your car and make a mad dash for the building at work whilst holding your breath!
