OF~ Sorry to disagree here, but oysters contain the hormone testosterone(sp?). It is proven that this is what causes sexual desire in both men and women. There are other foods that contain a high level.
Most of the pills and suplements are B.S.

After 9 years of researching this, this is what I have found....
Most people would get sick if they ate enough oyters to make a difference. Although when included in your diet on a regular basis, it does help make your drive a bit stronger.

I think, due to the psychologial aspect of aphrodisiacs, they tend to vary...

I feel incredibly sexy after 2 shots of tequilla...and have been known to flash my breasts at ANYONE in the general vicinity. It's not a drunken stupidity, just an overwhelming confidence and sexuality! It's hard to explain...other than, for me, tequilla is an aphrodisiac...thus, I try to stay away from it!

I agree with Steph...marijuana definitely makes me want to touch and be touched. Just me.

Well I have never encountered any food with those properties, but i dont discount the possibility.
I do agree a huge proportion of it is psychological.

I dont know if there is anything that you can take that necessarily makes you more "in the mood" but I know certain scenarios make me hot or certain touches..... all my guy has to do is rub the back of my knee and I'm on fire!
