Does anyone know what the maximum filesize to post is? And how do you compress a short video file to post on here so others can download it?

How big can the original file be and still get it down to the 100k limit?

Depends on the compression ratio when you pack it in to a .zip... sorry I can't be more specific, but the rate changes for reasons I don't understand whenever I zip my files for storage...

The only opinion about me that matters is the one I have of myself

it depends on what the file format is....you will not get much compression with a .mpg file but with a .avi file you will get more. that's because .mpg files are a compressed type of file and .avi files have minimal compression. .mpg files will play on both win and mac platforms but .avi files will only play on windows platforms (i think).
I use WinRAR, WinZip or Quarterdeck Zip-It for compression/decompression.
