Oh, they've already started that: as the price for suport from some of the delagates, the law cant' actually go into effect until 2013, although usually laws that are passed inthe winter/spring session go into effect in July of that year. This was an intentional clause in the law, to give opponents time to try to drum up support for an effort to put the law on the ballot in this state in November.

As if there is any real justification to put the civil rights of a group of citizens up for a "majority" vote.
