Will not be around much
Mrs King will be having a total hip replacement (right hip) on Nov. 23 and after that heals she will have her right knee replaced. So we will be running to the docs for awhile. I will try to keep everyone informed of how everything goes.

Scarecrow and Mrs. King ...
You know our thoughts and prayers are with you both and we'll look forward to the time when surgeries are over and Mrs. King is doing cartwheels in the back yard.
If we can do anything, you've got our number.

Mrs. King came through the surgery for the hip replacement with flying colors. She was in surgery for 2hrs and then in recovery for 2hrs before being moved to her room. She should get to come home on Saturday. It's been a long day, had to be at the hospital at 6am CST. I will keep everyone up to date as much as I can. Thank you all for the prayers and good wishes.

What terrific news! Tell Mrs. King, she'll stay in our prayers until fully recovered ... and again through the planned knee surgery. What great news and what a special thing to be thankful for today!!

Mrs. King was released from the hospital today. Her blood pressure had been low so they keep her a couple of extra days in the hospital. She feels fine, just a little sore. She can not put any pressure on that hip yet. She wants to thank everyone for the well wishes.

Talk about missing threads.
We're glad that Mrs K has come through so well.
A friend of ours went through this a couple of years ago, and said that recovery after
the hip was easy, but after the knee replacement learning to walk again was harder.

Great news, Scarecrow. Give Mrs. King our best wishes and a light hug.
We'll keep up the prayers for the knees next.
Maybe this spring we can find a day to get together and do lunch! We'll be looking forward to that day.
