Tsk...I loved her work. She was absolutely brilliant in Disney films like the Shaggy D.A. and The Ugly Dachshund.

She was one of my boyhood crushes.

The fact that she played "straight man" to the ultimate straight man (Newhart) hid her comedic talents...
I didn't realize until seeing her obit that I shared a birthday with her, & I had forgotten that she had been married to Tom Poston, another one we lost year, all too soon...

Just like Mary Tyler Moore,Ms.Pleshette was one of 60's tv sit com HOT wives. We all had crushes on one or the other,or both. I don't think she was in: The Birds. That was Tippy Hedren.

I loved watching her on cable reruns late at night. Just me, some microwave popcorn and a long Tshirt... She was so funny and smart.
By the way, they were both in "The Birds"
Tippi Hedron was the new, "Maybe" girlfriend from San Francisco, Suzanne Pleshette played the ex girlfriend, the school teacher.
*sigh*
