Horse Rescue in the Netherlands ... Incredible
The horses were trapped for 3 days on a tiny piece of land in wind and rain in the Netherlands ? It had the nation mesmerized, watching about 200 horses huddle against the wind and watching 19 of them die. First firemen then the Dutch army tried to rescue them, both unsuccessfully. Four women on horseback rode out to the rescue.
Here's a video of it..... This is very moving! Listen. watch and have joy of the rescue. Absolutely amazing - the behavior and trust of animals! This is a simple little video, but you're going to love it. The music by Vangelis helps make the story a really stirring one.
Knowing that horses are pack animals, they followed a leader, which were the horses that the ladies were riding. There were men in the background that also helped herd the pack forward into the water. It was wonderful to watch the people trying to help the horses safely to dry land.
THE SOUND BEGINS ABOUT 58 SECONDS AFTER THE START ..... Turn up the Volume and ... ENJOY ......

Did you mean to link it db? There's nothing to click on in your post hun!
Not that I could get it anyway. It'd take so long to buffer and I'd be late for work...lol!
Sounds like a real heartwarming story though!

Amazing they were able to only lose 19 of them. Great video.

Cool video. I didn't read DB's "story caption" until I watched it.
When I was listening I was thinking that the music sounded like Vangelis. Good stuff all the way around.
