Will the Midleastern and South American radicals unite against the USA. And do you think they may try to attack USA on are own soil?

The "radicals" mentioned really don't have much in common, except their hatred of the US. They may indeed, cooperate on a few strikes, but any long-term alliance or union is out of the question. Too many idieological, cultural, economic & religious differences to overcome.

Will there be future attempts on striking targets within the US? Let's see, motivation, opportunity, and means.

Well some time ago we got scared that some southern radicals and some more north-eastern radicals were going to unite and attack the US. The Cold War to me,was a time of great waste. Waste of money, waste of enery, waste of thinking power. We could have cured many diseases by now with the money we spent worrying and waiting.

What South American radicals? Do you mean Hugo Chavez and Daniel Ortega? A couple of good leaders who are doing great things to promote democracy for their people after many years of right wing despots proped up by American interests. Their interest in the middle east is in opposition to our imperialism, but I don't think they want to attack us.

While presidents Chavez and Ahmadinejad may, through their respective governments’ clandestine funding of anti-western militant operations, surreptitiously support violence against the U.S. and the EU, I would be very surprised were they to openly acknowledge doing so.

They have seen what can happen to governments and heads of state whose behavior is deemed unacceptable – Colonel Muammar Gaddafi and the bombing of Tripoli, General Manuel Noriega and the invasion of Panana, Slobodan Milošević's and the bombing of Yugoslavia (among others), come to mind here.

They are most likely to restrict their acknowledged mischief to diddling with the price of oil by reducing supplies, or as happened at the end of last year in Tehran, sponsoring anti-Semitic, hate-filled conferences.
