I just saw that come on the TV a few minutes ago. Got to meet his wife once at a dinner back in college. Very sweet woman. I live 2 hours from Grand Rapids, his Michigan home, and the site of the Gerald Ford Library. Once I'm able, I'm going to trek over and visit the Library, I'm quite sure it will prove to be worthwhile.

He also was instrumental in getting Canada into the G7 (now G8). He lived close to the border & had a great relationship with us (except when he opposed the Toronto Blue Jays becoming a team).

I admit, I don't know much about Mr. Ford's doings, political or otherwise, but I pray that his soul rests easy.
