Not sure I have a single favorite. This time of year I always crave a fruit salad that my grandpa always made over the holidays that I've never been able to make taste quite as special. Basically it's just apples, pears, tangerines, cherries, pineapple, grapes and bananas all sliced up and thrown into a crystal bowl and doused with sugar until it forms a yummy thick juice.
That sure sounds good right about now.

BERRIES
I love almost any kind of berry.
Raspberries, Blueberries, Strawberries, Blackberries, Cheyanneberries ……….
But I only get them in season.
The fruit that is ALWAYS in a bowl on the table is grapes. There are so many varieties today and available almost year round.
Tangerines (like the one on my desk NOW ) are something special that I associate with the holidays and go around the house squeezing the skins just to get the scent in the air.
Yep Not too many fruits I don't like, but those are my favorites.

White Thompson Seedless Grapes, the old standby...
I recall whenever my mama served canned fruit cocktail, I would pick out the white grapes & reject all else (yeh, I've always been a picky eater)...

Lilith,
My favorite fruit is the apple. Red Delicious apples in particular.

Peaches, but the Thompsons are easier to get here, and almost as nice.

Oranges, apples and strawberries ... yep, love 'em.
(And, you could add pineapple, bing cherries, pears, peaches, blueberries, tangerines ... and probably several others.)
