It's like a spy novel
come to life. I am just fascinated by the whole Russian Polonium poisoning. Is anyone else paying attention to it? It's like watching a spy novel unfold instead of reading about it afterwards. Just an amazing story to me.

Been following it mostly on ATC in the afternoons while I run my routes...kinda like the old days of the cold war coming back around. While the fingers are naturally pointing back at Putin, it seems that the poor bastard had many other enemies who would have liked to see him dead as well. Personally, I think that Putin might be too obvious a suspect, it could be his downfall if it does lead back to him.

Can't say that I'm actively following it, but I do catch the reports when I listen to the morning news. It is an interesting story.
I think Mikey did it.

This is a typical Soviet-style wet job.
These were carried out, largely, by the Bulgarian Secret Service.
The murder of Georgi Markov is a fine example.

Oldfart,
Yessir. Polonium 210 is not an impulse purchase.

How can you say that?
Cheese, crackers, Cola, Polonium. . .
Normal shopping list, eh?

Oldfart,
Perhaps I should select a more up market retailer... I wonder what type of answer I might receive if I ask the manager where the Polonium display case may be found?

If all else fails, LethalIsotopes-R-Us have a fair but adequate range.

What I don't get was if the Italian man met to tell him they were BOTH on this hit list, why does the Italian man only have limited exposure? You'd think they would have taken the opportunity to take them both out.

political intrigue
I am following it for a number of reasons, some personal.
(someone I care deeply about is involved in the coverage)
Putin's enemies and critics have a tendency to have accidents.

Actually, you can pick up miniscule amounts in the camera store...anti-static brushes contain just enough to ionize tiny dust particles that might ruin a good print...
altho I'm thinking Wolf Camera might wonder why someone needs a couple of hundred brushes...

jseal,
Not only a glowing recommendation, but some scintillating conversation with the salesman (over the counter of course).
