breast

My wife is going to have her breast done next year. She is a small 36a but is going to a 36c or d. I would like to know what you think and to see yours if in the size to help make her mind up. She is about 150 lb and 5foot 6 in. Do think she will like bigger is better or keep what you have?

Most doctors would not consider an a-d surgery.

As someone who has been bigger...let me assure you it is definately not better *L*

A to D is a pretty hefty change, no pun intended. If it is something you'r wife REALLY wants done then good luck to her, if it something that she is getting done for you for instance, tell her she's insane to put herself through it.

Please, take note of any risks and be sure your wife (and yourself) prepared for none, any or all to happen. Surgery is invasive and the worst CAN happen.

As a general rule, I am against unnecessary surgery for purely cosmetic reasons.

As Sharni said (and she really does know what she's talking about BTW) surgery is VERY invasive and comes with a lot of risks. Plus you have to think about what they will look like in the years to come - the skin will stretch and the muscle underneath the breast will not necessarily be able to support the weight of the implant since it is not a natural part of the body.

My advice would be to go look on the net at the worst boob jobs you can find and see if you think you could both live with them as the end result as a worst case scenario.

Also, be prepared that having cosmetic surgery will often change how a person looks, but not how they feel about the way they look. Sounds to me like your wife has the kind of figure most women would love and perhaps she feels that having larger breasts would make her perfect. It really doesn't work like that - perfection doesn't exist so there's a danger that one surgery will lead to another and another and another. Expensive, painful and ultimately fruitless, I'm afraid.

There's no point in us posting pics of our 36D size breasts here since the majority of women on this site are natural and our breasts will therefore look entirely different from anything your wife could have done surgically. Plus sizing in other countries is different anyway, as I believe and American D cup is much larger than a European one.
