I have a feeling PF would have voted for 13.
I correctly guessed at number one. It had to be the winner. I don't think it'll ever be topped.

#1 Was predictable. Probably correct, too.
And I remember seeing #21 when the movie came out in theaters.

Those are all great, but I have to say, I've always loved Paul Reubens death at the end of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Now that's a death!

Not mentioned is the scene in Wild At Heart where William Dafoe trying to escape a botched robbery with a pair of panty hoses over his head, blows his own head off with a shot gun sending it slamming against a building and falling to the ground with a thud.

#12 was correct to me till I read that it was the girl in the opening scene of the movie. Orca's captain (won't name the captain for fear of ruining the suspense) had a better death scene to me cause it had more meaning to him!
ROFLMFAO@ Steph and her supposition of PF's choice!
Oh...and #1? Yep...I agree!

So nobody else was impressed with the death of the hostage in "Swordfish" when the cops grabbed the female hostage who was packing C4 andstainless steel ball bearings that blew the whole city block to smitherinies?

my favorite death scene didn't make the top 50
The Crow-Eric Draven gives the pyromaniac and explosive fiend, T-Bird, a befitting death. T-Bird is duct taped to the driver's seat of his Ford Thunderbird, and as he realizes who it is that is going to send he and his car flying off into the lake, Eric throws a live grenade into his crotch, puts the car into gear, then waves good-bye as the car goes screeching off. The car explodes mid-air.
After that, Eric uses lighter fluid to paint a crow shape onto the ground and lights it aflame.
That fire crow is tattooed on my back as well as Brandon Lee's likeness as Eric Draven inside of the crow (as some of you may have seen on a tattoo thread that is drifting around here somewhere)
