OK, so the following is an except from an email my husband sent me. As most of you know, he is serving overseas. Periodically, we will email pics back and forth. This is his story.

Hi boo!

I'm sorry I didn't call you yesterday or today. I really wanted to but they
closed and locked the office early both days so when I went to call it was
closed. I'm now at the Battalion office so I can't use the phone so I'm
sorry. I also can't seem to get AIM working today so I'm just fucked both
ways. I guess you'll just have to deal with email today. I'm sorry.

Today was a pretty good day. I spent most of the day goofing off, I woke up
and moved some containers with the RTCH and then took a nap. I then got up
and went back and moved some more containers after that Lintz and I went
back to the room and made a song on PS2 with this program that I bought.
What was the song about you ask... well that's another story which I will
tell you in a sec. After we played on the PS2 for awhile we got a softball
game together and played softball. I used my new glove! I like it a lot!
Thank you! That was my day in a nut shell. "HELP I'M IN A NUT SHELL!"
SOOOOOOO on to the song topic. OH GOD what a story I'm about to tell you. So
they guys thought they get together last night for alittle "Party", they
went in my old room and got my camera to take some pictures and everything
was good... I was at my trailer sleeping. Life is great... until today when
I went into the office. I get there and notice that my camera is in the
office. My eyes get hugh! SHIT I think to myself... my camera is out of my
room! I grab in and turn it on and start looking at the pictures. I see the
pics that they took and then thought to myself... I wonder if they looked at
MY pictures on the camera... Remember that day along time ago right before
they took away our MWR and we took pics and talked dirty and I said I was
going to send you some... YEAH... I really did take some to send you... and
a video... 2 in fact... So when I see L* about mid day he starts laughing
his ass off... and my fears had come true! Everyone at the party had seen
the pictures... some the video... FAGS! So needless to say I had to make fun
of my self in my song that I sang. The stupid things people do and get
caught doing. I know you more than likely laughing your ass off right now.
You can't help but too. It makes me laugh thinking about it! GOD! Hahahaha!
So how was your day?

I love you so much and I hope that this little story has brought a smile to
your face and that you are remembering me for the stupid idiot that I am
most times! Hahaha I love you and can't wait to hold you in my arms!

Methinks he just knows how lucky he is and no amount of crap from his buddies will make a difference. Cute story Hon, but in the midst of it all is the obvious point two people love each other and being apart isn't stopping their attempt to preserve intimacy. That's touching and even gives hope to those of us who envy such things. Thanks for sharing.
