Oh my gosh!!
I was sitting at the bar in the dining room filling some papers out earlier today when I happened to look down at the floor and saw, upon first impression, a huge brown spot on my nice spotless floor. I took a second glace and realized it was the biggest CRICKET I have ever seen. This ain't ya regular garden variety cricket, I get these sometimes, they're cave crickets. Of course, I nearly died (I HATE bugs), I sprayed him with wasp killer from about 10 feet away and watched him die. UGH, then I scrubbed the spot! LOL
I know, I know, I don't live in a cave, but they come out of the cellar (that I have NEVER been in, yuck) I guess, god knows how they get in But anyway...I just wanted to share, it left me in a bit of a panic lol
As far as I know, they're the only "pests" I have, every once in a while a few of them migrate up here and I have to call backup.. I don't like ANYTHING that hops (except bunnies )
Another thing...They seem to die when exposed to light for long periods of time I'm freaked out.

Crickets are nasty! :eek;
We have grasshoppers here that are bright yellow and green and the size of a small animal. First time I saw one I was home alone and I about died.
