The experts say it looks like the storm will quickly cross into central Queensland and
bucket big time.
Our locals say it will do what it bloody wants to and when.

Its sposed to hit this morning between 6 and 9am last i heard
I'm hoping everyones buildings will stay..and that they are all safe and drinking lots of cold beer

(A couple long days. My apologies for being late on this.  )
We do have Pixies in Queensland, but pleased to say none in Cape York Peninsula area to our knowledge. They are +10 hours GMT and +15 hours EST. Another updating link.

Now if Ingrid would just gently lay some of that desperately needed water down for the rest of Qld., we'd all sleep better.
Personally, I think Ingrid is the result of floods generated a bit further south.

The water in Ingrid has come from evaporation off the sea, in this case, the Coral Sea.
I notice that she has crossed the cape and is on her way to Gove or Groote Eylandt.
That puts her about 3 or 4 days away from me if she decides to visit.

We are hoping Ingrid gets the blow out of her before she makes landfall as she did for Qld.
Now if you fly south at 200 kph, for 6 hours and then north for 6 hours, can you stay where you are? 
( still think it’s all Sharni’s fault )
