I've seen several people who want to make it into the chat rooms and haven't figured out how. So heres a little thread of what I do to get chat.
The link at the page does work. It just works different for everyone for some reason. Some people may have to mouse click the "CHAT" button instead of just pressing enter. Simply type the name you would like to chat under in the box and then click 'chat'. Now when I do it that way, and I don't know why. Every sentence is followed by like 4 lines of "you need to register your nick" type crap. Therefore I don't go in that way.
Instead, I have
http://216.150.92.84/erotic.php saved into my favorites list so all I have to do is bring down the list and click on it and it brings up the chat page. Then all you have to do is type in your name and mouse click 'chat' If I don't mouse click and click enter, I go nowhere. But when you mouse click it it will bring up a small window which says run jIRC or something like that. click run and the page will load.
As for all those buttons that look like a cockpit of an airplane...try them all. some work some don't. Its trial and error. And its just like having sex. If you don't know what to do with it, you shouldn't mess with it.
I hope I helped someone out there.
Someone else teach them how to do it using a mIRC. I haven't used this one so I don't know what server and stuff its on.
