Who do you slip in the CD player when you need a change of attitude?

Nat King Cole!
His mood songs ooze attitude change!
If I want the other extreme...I go for Aerosmith or AC/DC...or some others along that line!

Depends on what kind of attitude I want to change from & to...
If I want to vent some anger without hurting somebody, I will often put on some Elvis Costello...

If I am sad, Depeche Mode or Hendrix
If I want to be happy, I put in some Queen or Billy Joel

It isn't so much as to who I play what what type of music/songs I select to change or increase my mood. I have a very ecletic taste in music - I like current groups and I like the "golden oldies". I occassionally listen to classical, jazz and sometimes even Sinatra....
It is a good thing that I have a CD burner in my computer...I can select the compilations that I want depending on what mood I want to enhance or get away from.

Any kind of music helps to take me away, but I enjoy Frank Sinatra when I want to unwind...and Tool, Korn, Godsmack or Metallica when I wanna wind up.

Bad day at work = 45 minutes on the couch with some form of single malt and some kind of Beethoven on the stereo.
That's really the only time I use music to change my mood... however, the right tunes on the radio when driving results in a heavy right foot.

If I had to pick one, I'd pick Moby. His music can be mellow or energetic depending on the track.

When i am horny, i listen to Type O Negative. Peter Steele's voice just leaves me dripping wet!
When I am having a regular old day, i listen to Nine Inch Nails, Tool/A Perfect Circle, The Cure, Marilyn Manson, and Rammstein.
When it is a "Spazmolytic" day, then it is Skinny Puppy
When it is a dancing day, KMFDM, and the Crystal Method
When it is a Hippie day, The Grateful Dead and Janitor Bob and the Armchair Cowboys.
When it is a cramming for finals day, Mozart.

Portishead is always nice for me......
If I want to wake up while driving......Friend of the Devil by the Dead always helps.
I also recommend VAn Morrison, Blind Melon, Bob Marley, Bob Dylan and Pink Floyd!

i ususally like ballad type music...sting, melissa ethridge, 10,000 maniacs...classics along the lines of mac the knife, jonny be good and run around sue, the top 40 type hits from over the years since highschool. basically stuff i can sing to. so for a change, i pop in public enemy, beastie boys(paul's boutique especially), old metallica, blink 182...funky or heavy but always something with a killer beat.

Now that sounds LOVELY...as long as I can add Rachmaninov to the play list
