Just the face of the internet.

Not quite two weeks ago, my computer was hit by a massive malware attack that got past my firewall, anti-adware, and anti-virus programs. I've sorta kinda got it back to the point where I can use it as a stand-alone platform, but I can't connect to any net stuff with it.

Then the scheduled vacation came up.
Well, I'm here at the beach, I can occasionally get to the 'net from my wife's lap-top. We have to use dial-up though, sucks having a slow connection.

Bright side: Dolphins frequently visible from the beach-front condo.
Dark side: consruction all day directly next to the hotel. Involves a front end-loader, a bulldozer two cranes, and a power shovel.
Bright side: Since I can't do any work with this equipment, I'm ree to do fluff. Hey, I'm supposed to be n vacatin after all.
Dark side: Work is piling up, I don'at have the resources to do more than gather it off the web, can't do what I need to do with it.
Bright Sside: Went to Alligator Adventure today. Big-ass reptile zoo n Myrtle Beach, SC. Got to scritch a Galapagos tortoise, the animal seemed to really enjoy my attention.
Dark side: Looks like I'm going to have to wipe my entire OS and re-install everything from backup when I get home.

Anyway, that's what been going on in the reptilian world (or, at least my reptilian world) of late. Talk to people when I can.
