I don't know if things go the same way in other parts of the world as they do here in the UK, but I noticed something on TV tonight and it amused me.

It was an advert for Laxatives and whilst I was watching it I had a sudden thought about it. Here in the Uk all the advertisments for laxatives show women as needing them and on the flip side all the adverts for diarrhoea cures seem to be men. Have any of you noticed anything similar?

I have noticed here, that the ads for constipation are usually of men with it and their wives having to get him "the cure". I guess they just think it's more appropriate for a man to be full of shit and so ashamed of it that his wife has to do all the dirty work in asking the pharmacist for a cure-all (M.O.M...Milk of Magnesia).
