Movie????
We saw "Pirates of the Carribean"(sp & name)last night on Starz
TV.I taped it for my grandkids. What were peoples opinions of the
movie.Bloom was pretty good!I was,very,dissapointed in Depp.
Maybe it was the movie, which I was also dissapointed in.It just
wasn't my kind of movie!I liked Depp,in most of his other roles.I,
especially, liked him in that life story of a Drug supplier. Irish
P.S.If anyone has seen it,what did you think?Like I said, maybe it just wasn't my kind of movie! It was too far fetched for me.Much to
Sharnis dissapointment,Orlando seemed very taken with the
female lead!(That's show Biz!)

Irish,
I enjoyed it, even if it was a bit silly in places.
It was, if I may pose as a film critic, a farce, with the highly improbable plot situations, exaggerated characters, and slapstick elements.

It's a movie based on a Theme-park ride..... It's not exactly gonna be Hard-Hitting Drama.... right?
I thought it was great, I'd go as far to say I loved it. Bloom and Depp were both excellent, as was Mackenzie Crook, wonderful to see his humor extending outside of the office!
Really makes me chuckle.

I also thought it was great. Depp in my opinion did a great job with his character, the way he swayed when he walked and how he got his lines off. Bloom also did a great job.

I prefer the ride at Disneyland.Afterward you can enjoy a good dinner at he Blue Bayou Restaurant which is connected to the ride. A note.Today, with all of the "moral do-gooders" complaining, the pirate chasing the wench has been taken out of the ride or so I hear.At nearly $50.00 a ticket,it has been a long time since we have gone to Disneyland.
