Every week for the past two years, me and one of my friends had a Friends night. We would make or order dinner, do some crafts, and watch the thursday night shows. After about 6 months, we got another girl to join us, who brought another girl. Now, on most nights, there's just 4 of us, but we have also gotten up to about 8 girls on some weeks.

Tomorrow, we're meeting at my place early, and going to one of the nicest (best tasting) places in town, and doing dinner there, then coming home to weep over the last Friends episode.

Sure, it's not the end of the world, but that show brought us all together for at least 1 night a week, and showed me that I do have more than 1 real live friend. I'll miss it, but eh, people move on.

As for Friends night, well, between us, we own each season relased on DVD, and plan to still meet on thursdays over the summer to grill out, watch some shows in order, and have fun. One friend said we could do it at her mom's place a few times, and she has a pool, so that'll be nice, too.

Especially since the one girl I got started with is the one getting a divorce and planning to move to California. Blah.

Sure, it's just a show. There were times over the past years where I didn't have a chance to watch...things like birthing babies and associated tasks sometimes get in the way. But I already own seasons one and two, mostly because I was *their* age when the series began--I could relate--and it was during that time I was going through a rough patch in my life. They were a welcome diversion.

Besides, I've now got kleclere giggling to the shows. There's nothing better than that.

I'm working so I'm going to have to get someone to tape it for me or wait for the DVD. I haven't watched TV in months but I'm looking forward to seeing if R & R get together. I have a feeling they won't, though.

I'll watch...just cause I've seen it so many times and I'd hate to miss out on topping M*A*S*H* as the most watched finale ever!

OK...it might, or it might not do that! We'll see!
