Nope you can have one now. Just go to UserCP then Edit Options. Scroll down to the bottom to change AV. Enjoy.

I believe it's the old U.S.S.R. flag naughtyangel. I'm not sure what the flag of Russia looks like now...but that looks like the old sickle and hammer to me!

That's exactly what it is...................The old Soviet Union flag.
BTW, Welcome Monkeyjoe..................and I must say that's an interesting choice for an av. Any particular reason why you chose it? Inquiring minds (and just plain nosey people like me and Lixy too, no doubt) want to know.  |

Not necessarily clueless, naughtyangel. Maybe you're young enough to not really remember when the Soviet Union was a Super Power. I'm only guessing at that since you don't give your age on your profile.

This is the current flag for Russia. 
I believe the umbrellia of the Union of Soviet Scocialist Republics included this official flag for the country of Russia since it replaced the Zar’s Imperial Russian flag.

I can't get a background that will contrast the white of the top third of the flag.
It's three, equal, horizontal stripes of white, blue and red, top to bottom.
