I have been meaning to post this for a while but i kept forgetting, While watching football (soccer)last weekend, Arsenal played portsmouth. Now everything Arsenal done was a work of art, Now i was wondering......... Is ever a time where a sport could be taken as art? the Movement and the skill needed must in my mind make it art, Anyone Agree???

Some athletes operate like skilled craftsmen. Absolutely. Sporting events can be an aesthetic experience.

Personally, I've always considered anything where you are training physically to compete as a sport. That would include dancing, ballet and such.

I consider that art, so I don't see why other's can't be, either.
