Post be safely romantic

candles are romantic but can be dangerous.
the best way of using them safely is to put the candles
in a glass or jar fill partly with water now the glass will
stop anything from catching on the flame and if you knock it over the water will put out the candle and if you get caught up in the moment and forget the candles the will go out atomaticly
beware the glass can get hot as a extra you can get some glass
paint and add colour to the glass

i have posted this because these type of accidents are quite
common this time of year

Good idea! I completely ruined the top of my nightstand when a large candle overheated and the wax ran all over the place. I was so .... busy that I did not notice til the next day

That is the company that makes them, I think. Interesting though when I searched on the name I had to made through so many complaints about their company's practices to get to anything about their product.

yeah, they're one of those products where you buy by attending a party at someone's house, and they try to sucker you into having your own party with promises of lots of free products, lol. And their prices are kinda steep ($10/dozen tealights, $16/dozen votives....anything bigger than that is extravagant $$).

But, they are amazing candles. The tealights burn for a good 4 hours, the votives at least 8. They melt to this gorgeous clear liquid, that will put out the candle if it tips. When they're done burning, there's literally nothing left but the little metal wick-disk thingy...no cleaning out the candle holder And the wax doesn't burn *hot*. I can dip my finger in the melted wax and it's comfortably very warm, but doesn't burn.

I know, I'm a candle freak, lol

sorry Jenna...the consultants around here are SO darn pushy it's nauseating, lol. I'm lucky that I work with one, and she lets me just order from the catalogue, then she adds my order to one that will hopefully help someone meet their party goal. That way I don't feel guilty about being at a party and not buying enough.

You must have a ton of their candle holders, lucky thing. Some of their stuff is sooo beautiful!
