Where do I begin?

Ok... here goes...

I have mentioned on occassion that I work with a fabulous man... a little bit older than myself (he is 50) and he has become someone who I enjoy working with. He makes me laugh... and he certainly makes the days more bareable... his name... well.. to protect the innocent.. I will say his name is Jim

Anyway... yesterday we went to lunch. We do from time to time... usually with a group.. but day before yesterday it was alone. We shared a great conversation... as always. During which the topic of his lack of dating came up. Now, until recently his 24 year old daughter resided with him and that was pretty much the reason he didn't date much (I honestly can't come up with any other reason... he is DAMN attractive... fantasic personality... and just an all around nice guy). Anyway.. during the conversation he mentioned that he had looked at the Yahoo personals and was surprised at the amount of women in this region that have posted. He asked me which ones I had looked at and of course (DUH) I mentioned webdate. As soon as I did I made him promise he wouldn't go lookin for my profile.. YEAH RIGHT.. LOL. ANYWAY...

Last night.. he sent me an email.. brief.. as instructed so that I would have his email address... I replied very briefly.. nothing special.. and that was the end of it... or so I thought... (I should have known better).

So... I get to work this morning... and at some point I asked him if he had visited the site I had mentioned... he said that he was up real late reading.... and smiled.. chuckled.. I asked him if he posted an add.. and he said no.. that he was tooo busy reading.. and suddenly I just knew something was "not right"... he made another comment later in the day about reading so much last night that he had a hard time going to bed... by the time everyone else left at the end of the day I was dying of curiousity...

so I asked him....

"So, Jim... exactly what was it that you were reading last night?"

Jim's reply: light laughter

"Why didn't you post an add? Did you reply to any?"

again.. Jim's reply: light laughter

by this time.. I am beginning to worry... he read my profile... oh my god.. some pretty explicit things about myself are there.... damn.. I gotta go home and remove them.... oh no... I hope he only went to webdate... and not adultfriend finder (which had also been mentioned in our conversation over lunch)..

Jim speaks up from the other side of cubicle wall "I learned a new word last night"

At this point.. I just KNOW I am in trouble...

"Oh?" I replied (as i am looking for a place under my desk to hide)

"Yeah... LITEROTICA"

"OH MY!!!" As suddenly I realize that him reading my profile wouldn't have been nearly this bad.. I ask "HOW? HUH? WHERE?"

Jim laughs... "It was a link in your email"

"MY WHAT???!!!!!!"

Jim goes on to explain that when he got my response, there was somehow a link on it that he clicked on... and low and behold.. there was Literotica.

I hesitantly asked Jim if he happened across my stories while there... his response "It came from you, hell yeah I went looking for it"...

Damn....

I am sooooo embarrassed... tho it would be a hell of a lot worse if he had any inclination that I have the hots for him.... LOL... I raced thru my mind and was glad to realize that I hadn't named any of the male characters Jim... or did I? LOL

Not sure how I am gonna continue acting around him now... my secret is out... YIKES...

Actually... I do believe he already had indication that I tend to think alot of sex.... I have a sense of humor that often is sexually charged... and we have often have had off color generalized conversations...

I have had the hots for him for sometime... he truly is a nice guy.. has a lot to offer on many levels (and NO money isn't one of them) ... BUT... I honestly don't think that he would be interested in me in that way.... (tho that was before he read my stories). LOL

I am sure that we will have lunch again.. hopefully alone... and the subject will be brought up... my stories anyway... I wrote him tonight.. apologizing... but then asking him what he thought of them.. LOL

So you're out of the closet as an erotic writer. It can only bring you admiration from men and they will chase you even harder. Think of it as being blessed with the perfect sexy figure or something like that. Sex goddesses just have to fight a little to keep them away. And they have to handle the sex-at-work thing too. And the catty jealousy from other women.

Another plus is that no man will DARE to be less than perfectly considerate of sexy you. Or you might take revenge in writing.

Still haven't decided how to handle this.... just decided to go to work.... and interact with him as I always do...

At one point during the day... I was helping him rearrange some filing.. he looks around to make sure no one is in ear shot... and he says "That is sure one hell of a place"... and snickers... LOL... I then again tell him that I HONESTLY have no idea how that got link got on that email... he says he is glad that it did... and that he spent a great amount of time there last night... and expects to go back there this evening... LOL oh my

So.. tomorrow morning... as I walk by his cube.. I shall say "Read any good stories lately?"... his reaction will kinda tell me what to do next... right?


And ericthered... what a wonderful thought... LOL.. I will have to keep that idea in mind.
