OMG! How in the "world" did you find this site?????
Stunning.....absoltely stunning db! I love stuff like this! Science is a personal passion! Math follows a close second!
"Next time you're feeling rather unimportant, try using a little arithmetic trick based on the undebatable fact that it took two people, your parents, to get you here. Each of your parents has two parents, so in the generation just prior to that of your mother and father, there were four people whose pairing off and "sharing of love" (*giggle*) contribute to your existence!
You are the product of eight great grand-parents, 16 great-great grandparents, 32 great-great-great grandparents, etc. Keep on multiplying the number by two. If you figure an average of about 25 years between each generation, you'll discover that a scant 500 years ago, there were 1,048,576 people beginning the production of you!
That's what the vastness of your link made me think of db! TY for the perspective! *hugs n kisses*

I took classes last semester from a crazy Astronomy professor. We used that in class for a lesson on microscopes and telescopes. That is from a program at the High Magnetic Lab here where I live. They hold all sorts of field days and I am crossing my fingers I may get to do a teaching internship there!

Lixy ... that is also fascinating! Wow, I wonder if they planned it that way?
Probably they all met at a bar and someone said, "I have an idea ... let's have an orgy!" And, yea, as quoted from the book of Pixies ... "Out of the orgy came DB."
(Okay, it took 500 years! )
By the way, were all of you part of that same orgy?

That's pretty cool. Now we just have to harness this tremendous power and use it for perving.

The idea came from a movie made in the 50s or 60's.
