Christmas in July?
Anyone going to 'celebrate' this week?
It's a Friday....
Not sure if I'll do anything or not with finances being tight.
Though I guess Cartoon network is going to show a couple of specials.

Now, I wonder where you got this idea.
Actually, that's a wonderful idea. We have friends coming over--maybe I'll break out the 30-40 Christmas CDs I own and make it an all-Christmas song night.

I _do_ own the Charlie Brown Christmas and Grinch DVDs. So if I wind up at a friend's place (where they have cable but don't have cartoon network), I'm set. Not sure about taking a bunch of Christmas CDs over.

You can come here and listen.
I have Charlie Brown and Grinch and the original Grinch, along with Rudolph and Frosty. Should be set. The only thing I regret not having is Billy Murray's Scrooged. I LMAO every time I watch that thing.

A friend of mine got the Frosty/Rudolf box set. I've got an odd collection of Christmas CDs. Some German and some American. Including a Dr. Demento one and 2 Chipmunks CDs

Woohoo~The Chipmunks is my favorite. My sister, brother and I have a family tradition of, once my mother's tree is up, turning on The Chipmunk Song, laying under the tree, and singing along.
It was fine 20 years ago. Now it looks a bit odd.

We have often had a Christmas in July celebration in our ski lodge.
Well its the only time we could get a white christmas with snow as December is summer here and usually quite warm.

I have one of those simply awful trees with the lighted branches. I can donate it to the cause.
