Brain freeze, brain fart whatever you call it..
I have it! I can usually think up some really romantic/sexual ideas for Iggy but right now I am drawing a blank. Iggy MAY be home August 15th that is 28 days from now! I can't think of anything to do to make his home coming special. What I do have planned is a banner but what to put on it? I know that I really don't need to do anything special but be there but I always do something to make him think damn I am lucky. This is so frustrating! Any ideas on what I could do? Thank you all in advance.

With the ideas and posts you'd made I would imagine just a "Welcome Home Baby" and you waiting for him should make him feel like the luckiest guy on Earth. Touching home and seeing the love of his life will be the most rewarding part of his return I guarantee. Anything else is just extra jelly on the sandwich.

There is, of course, all the standard romantic stuff...but what about a video or photo album with pics from every day from now until August 15th that show you thinking about him/missing him/doing things that have significance to both of you?
That way he can take it with him...

I suggest you make it simple and comfortable. He will be going through a bit of culture shock and trying to get acclimated to having some freedoms again. Go slow and keep it simple. Just make a fave meal, have some wine and remind him of what he missed. Forget the banner unless you write Welcome Home on it then roll up in it naked and let him unroll you

I agree with Lilith... make it simple.. perhaps a night of pampering... and be patient with him.
A nice meal.. quiet, and talking, cuddling... then just take it from there.... let him know that he is ok, and finally home...

Well now it looks like I'll only be comforting him when he gets home. Someone that we knew died so Iggys homecoming will only be a celebration that he is still alive. I know religion isn't a big thing on Pixies but could you all keep him in your thoughts and prayers?

Oh IG! You are such a sweet and brave woman! Don't start doubting yourself now.....when time is so close and he will be in your arms again soon! I can feel your nervousness all the way over here in Pa. hun!
((((((((((((IggysGirl)))))))))))))))
Not only can I feel that nervousness.......but since I've first read a post from you......I can feel your love for Iggy! He'll feel it too sweety.......no matter what you end up doing.......he WILL feel it! Stop worrying! Just take him in your arms..........kiss him forever.........and then do whatever happens next! Whatever that is.......it will be perfect!
My thoughts and love go to you and him!
