Evil Matrix twins anger albinos?

I heard on the raido this morning that there are albino's that are upset because Hollywood generally casts abino's as bad guys in movies, notably the evil Albino twins in the new Matrix film.

Do you think Hollywood needs to be friendlier to the albino community and cast some positive albino role models?

And do you think this story was possibly generated by the film's production company to generate more hype for the film?

I don't think there's any malicious intent from Hollywood towards them and it's not like I'm going to shy away from any albino I might actually meet because of a sci-fi movie.

My thought on my second question is that this movie needs more hype like a desert needs more sand.

Your thoughts?

Every movie that comes out pisses someone off.

I have never thought that a lack of pigmentation makes people evil freaks....well except for the gloved one.

What about the character Powder in the movie Powder or Casper (aka Whitey) in Me, Myself, and Irene? Who couldn't love those characters? I'd say they were cast in a positive light (no pun intended).

It does all get a little bit ridiculous:

And if we're going to look at film stereotypes, there are plenty more:

Ever noticed how, sweet innocent female heroes and heroines are so often blond, while their evil, seductive, manipulative counterparts are so often dark?

And why do baddies so often have an English/ other non-American accent?

It's just the way Hollywood is............hell thinking about it as a dark haired English woman I should start my own damn campaign! Lol

Yeah....most of the mutants I know are pissed too. As for the Matrix Reloaded...Aqua's right..this movie already has WAY too much hype. I saw it last night and was severely dissappointed. In no way, shape, or form did it live up to it's hype. The plot was too jumpy, most new characters were thrown in with little or no explanation to their backgrounds, but hey...that $100 million s/fx budget was well spent. Some of the best visuals I've ever seen, too bad they spent all the money on fx and not enough on writing. Just my 2cents.

My daughter said she read that if you can bear to put up with some confusion (regarding not having the new characters introduced very well) in this film, you'll be rewarded in the last with explanations that will make everything fall into place.

Read this about the twins in Entertainment Weekly: "They may look like albinos, but Twins #1 and #2 are actually ghosts. Maybe that's because the real life probability of albino twins is 1 in 6.4 million."
