So if you give your SO a gift or flowers on Valentine's Day, or any Holiday or "Just Because" day, does that mean you are entitled to get sex????

Well let's see .... if I give flowers or special lingerie to a man .... let's just say that I'm hoping he'll be putting out .... not that he has to mind you, but that he'll want to.

In my opinion........I think men do things in general with the notion that they will get sex!

Example: "Honey, I took out the trash and loaded the dishwasher and started dinner for you! Yep......I did all that just for you! Look! I even replaced the trash bag I took out. And the dishes were really bad and I started the dishwasher! Yep! That was me. I started the washer and the dinner! And the trash is out and I started dinner! Aren't you glad you didn't have to come home to a full trash and the dishes dirty and no dinner started? I did all that JUST FOR YOU!"

LMAO!

And I'm thinking.........If it's "Just Because"........Why is there still an expectation?

Don't give gifts with expectations in mind! You'll probably get a bonus, extra special thank you anyway.....but if you don't....your expectations won't be crushed! Or better yet.....when you give a gift.....expect nothing in return (novel idea) and when you get the best blow job of the millennium....you'll think, "Wow! I never expected that!"

Gifts, when given from the heart... to someone you care, should not come with strings attached....no matter what time of year!

Just receiving a gift , flowers, lingerie..puts you in a "tingly, he/she really loves me mood anyway"!!

So if it leeds to the bedroom or kitchen table..or the shower......all the better Eh????

But if nothing happens...who cares...you both know you love each other and the gift was just reminding you of that!!!

It sounds like one of the partners is unwilling to be affectionate even after the first one shows his/her appreciation. However, if the "Gift Giver" is only giving the gift to get sex ... that's not a good arrangement.

Now if giver of the gift likes to have sex and the receiver is rationing out affection ... why should the giver stick around if he (or she) is in a one-sided relationship?? In a nutshell, if the receiver of the gift CAN satisfy the giver with sex ... then the receiver should show his (or her) appreciation.
