Hidden S&H charges!
FYI---My wife and I really like the looks of that"Pasta Pot"that is
advertised on TV.One is Red w/holes in the top for draining.I saw
another one advertised. It is white&the top locks w/the handles.
It looked like a better deal.They advertise it,as a package.It has the pot,a smaller pot,a food chopper,cutting board& two different
sized holes in the tops of the pot lids. They advertise it at $19.95
+$7.95 S&H.My wife called the # on the screen yesterday, gave them her card #& asked for a total. They charged an extra $19.??
for S&H.My wife quoted them the price on the screen. They said that they knew but with the WHOLE package, they charged the
extra $19.00.My wife cancelled the order.Moral:Always check!
Hope this helps someone! Irish

I had a similar situation. I bought a fencing mask from New York to have it shipped to the West Coast of Canada. They Charged me for shipping and handling and so far okay right. Well, when the packaged arrived I had to pay another $20.00 for customs charges. The company sent the item as a "sample" but customs didn't believe them and charged me.

It seems like a lot of companies are doing little (annoying) things like that to sucker people in.
I'm glad to hear that ya'll cancelled your order -if enough people backed out, companies would quit trying to pull crap like that.

I'm glad you mentioned the product, Irish. My boyfriend LOVES those pasta pots and when I tell him about the $20, he'll be sure to get off the pot!
