Does it HAVE to be a car? If not, I've already got it - a brand new Kawasaki ZX636 in green. . . fast as f*ck (as we say in Scotland!) plus my g/f loves it too!!
If a car. . . current favourite would be the Subaru WRX World Rally Car; I've driven the road-legal version, and IT was AWESOME ! ! !

I can only pick 1?
let's see, the 69 Camaro 427 4speed is taken
A 1955 Chevy Bel Air ragtop would be nice.
But im more of a do-it-yourself kinda guy, so i'll take a 1971 Chevy pickup with a mid-90's stepside bed on it. Metallic blue with a gray leather interior.
Of course it'd have either a Vortec 5.3L or the new Vortec I-6 out of a TrailBlazer. 4spd auto tranny for the ultimate cruizer.
Or hell, the ultimate would be the drivetrain out of a C5 Vette Z06, 405bhp V-8 and a 6spd manual transaxle mounted in the rear.
I'd better stop now before I REALLY go overboard!

Alright, dammit! STO stole my thunder...
Yes, I want a hummer too... but not the vehicle.
(I guess that one belongs in the "Leads to naughty thoughts" thread.)
I think Vixenoir has the right idea: Impala
either an older one (mid to late 60's) or a '94, '95 or '96 -the newer ones are wimps on wheels
my preference? 1995 black Impala SS
I had one once and I miss it dearly -speaking of "fast as f*ck" !!!

A Smart car.
Originally started as a prooject by Swatch (yes, the 80's watch people) and bought out by DaimlerChrysler, these are just the coolest little cars.
They make original Cooper Mini's look large at 2.5 m.
I saw them 2 years ago in Europe, and I am hopelessly smitten.
I cannot wait until they arrive in the US.

Oh yes! Was just reminded how cute they are. I think it would work great as a city run-about, and you can park it anywhere.

the Jeep Willys2 is pretty cool, but i dont know if they are going to run the line. I also like the new corvettes, i would pick a yellow one cuz they are such cool cars with a fuckin ugly color. Or I would pick a Porsche 911 gt2.
if none of those I wouldnt mind a Mazda Rx7
