I'm a nut for pecans, almonds, cashews, strangely I've lost my taste for peanuts, as a young zoid I would pick the peanuts out of the mix...cannot stand brazils or filberts(hazelnuts), I pick those out of the mix (no one else in the house likes em either) & put em out for the birds & squirrels...

I've always loved almonds...and now they are ever so popular in the newer diet plans that I am perpetually on a diet it seems. One diet had the balls to tell us to only eat 7 almonds as a snack. *Pffffffft*
And...raise your hand if you knew a cashew is a legume and not a nut...
*runs outta the thread before I can get pelted with rotten tomatoes for being a smarty pants*

My fellow Pixies.
Oh, you meant the food kinda nuts ...
Hmmmm ... walnuts; pecans, almonds and cashews (even if they're really legumes ... after all, it wasn't their fault. )

And in fact, so are peanuts.
But I prefer macadamias. Unsalted.

I have a family size can of Cocktail Peanuts right next to my chair. I go through a large can about every other week.

Cashews, can sit down and eat a whole can at once.....not that it's something to be proud of.
