I'm not as big of a fan as I used to be. It just hasn't been the same for me since Dale got killed. I guess the only races I absolutely can't miss anymore are the Daytona 500, Firecracker 400 (or whatever sponsor does the July 4 race now), Brickyard and the night race at Bristol at the end of August. I would absolutely love to take a car out onto that track in Bristol.
When I do watch, I'm pulling for Dale Jr.
I do have the shootout on the tube right now though. I try to watch that every season as well as the twin qualifying races.

I'm so excited that NASCAR is back. I bleed orange and have always been a die-hard Tony Stewart fan. I also pull for Kurt Busch. I'm glad the shootout is on tonight and Daytona next week is gonna be great!

Pretty good race to get things started. At least there wasn't the "really" big one that we usually get there or Talladega.

There's too few cars on the track during the Shootout for the big one to be a factor. I think the crash tonight was the big one of the Shootout.

That's true. I'm sure we'll probably get it in the 500.

Well, at least it was an exciting finish I guess. Of all 43 cars in the race, the 29 is the last one I wanted to win the thing. Can't stand Kevin Harvick. And to think he won the thing on the anniversary of Dale's death about makes me want to get sick.
After Dale Jr. and Tony Stewart were eliminated from contention I was really hoping that Mark Martin could pull it out. Now that he drives a Chevy I can root for him.
Really hoping that before all is said and done though that Kenny Schrader can pick up a win someplace.
OMG, I can't stand Harvick.
