Figures, something came up and the DM did'nt make the meeting. We'll be lucky if he can drop off the packets to the store tomarow. Unless some new store is comming from one of our closings then I better start looking for a job now. That means I should really update the resume. I hate doing that and I'm lousy at it.

Being behind on everything.....work, school. home stuff. Oh -- and my $2000 estimate to fix the heater.

I wonder if I'll really need heat this spring?

Finding out that the auto parts store cannot order a new blinker cover for my car.
Gonna have to walk the snow in a junkyard, unless we get lucky calling around and one has them inside.

If you needed references, we could probably collect several dozen right here at pixies. We'd leave it up to you whether you wanted to refer to us as "... the little people ..." or not.

That's a bummer. I know for both the Mitsubishi and for the Mazda ... some parts have to be "dealer ordered" as they're not available from auto parts stores. I think that's a rip off, myself.

This house of mine. The drafty windows are just driving me nuts. The place is an eyesore from the outside and I need to do something about these hardwood floors before I lose what's left of my mind. I guess spring is just around the corner though and at least the windows and siding will get done then.

Well actually this pissed me off yesterday but I am still boiling about it - the library hires incompetents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lost my student ID card earlier this week and that is what the library uses as a code to lend books. However, you don't need the card to borrow books, just any photo ID is good and they can find you in the system. So Wednesday when I went to the library, the woman who was at the lending counter sassed me that I needed to get a new card, and I told her that I was kind of waiting for someone to find it and bring it to the lost & found. Anyway, she *very* reluctantly let me borrow the books I wanted.

So yesterday I return to borrow more books. Lucky me, it was the same woman working there. So I take out my driver's permit, and she looks at me and says, "Oh you still haven't found your card???" So I say no, to which she says, "Well I'm going to freeze your account so that if someone finds your card, they won't be able to borrow books on your account." (Not that it matters, I am at my borrowing limit!!!) Then she continues and says, "But then I won't be able to lend you these books."

Now seriously, is she telling me that she can't freeze my account *after* she lent me the books??????????????? After I made that point, she sassed me more but dammit I wasn't leaving without the books!!! Finally, I have my books but I need a new card to borrow more...

Grrrrrrr she's supposed to be there to help students!!! Not make their life hell!!!

Got some books I ordered and they sent a wrong one, I gotta pay to send it back!!!!! Grrrr!!!!!!

Getting 4 of the wrong items and NONE of several items I needed that I'd ordered in my online shopping. I had to go to the store again.

Geez, I'm glad I did the online shopping.
