Saturday night I went to see Cauterize, Revis, Cold & Evanescence. I initially went to this concert to see Revis and Cold, and they both put on a great show....but....I was then surprised. I have had the Evanescence CD since it came out but had quickly grown tired of the "pop" sound and the crowd at the concert did not surprised me was mostly 16-18 year old girls...But they mostly got disapointed where as I was impressed...Evanescence rocked harder than Cold, the addition of the 3 band members which do not perform on the CD was awesome.

Vanilla Ice (Yes, I know, don't casterate me for it), Marky Mark, LeAnn Rimes, Ty Herndon, Brooks & Dunn, Alabama, Verve Pipe, Ted Nugent, Cledus T Judd, Trick Pony, Gary Allen, Dwight Yokum, Chris Cagle... I know there's been others, but those are the ones I can recall. Brooks & Dunn were playing with Cledus, Trick Pony, Gary Allen, Dwight Yokum, and Chris Cagle all at the same show. That was by far the coolest show I've ever been to.

I'm not going to list them all (not that there have been that many...I'm just lazy), but on the 4th I've been going to the concerts in Grant Park for the Taste of Chicago. This year was Counting Crows, Old 97s, and They Might be Giants! Great show.
