So here are the rules...no more than 6 lines for each...the next person guesses what it is and then gives another riddle

When it drips im your umbrella
When you get hot i roll on
When she spreads my tip guides you
When the searchers go i stop them

Towards morning they lay flat
Around noon they start their training
In the afternoon they are productive
But by the night they put their head down
