I have to agree but the only good thing I found about the movie was I got to see some nice breast.

I didn't despise it...but I saw it twice and I just didn't care for Pulp Fiction. I thought I'd better watch it twice in case I was missing something that everyone was raving about. Nope...I didn't miss a thing and it still kinda sucked to me.
Also...Eyes Wide Shut. It might have been that Tom Cruise was the star. I can't think of anyone off the top of my head but someone else should have played his role.
I never really despise a movie. I just don't follow the main stream. For example...I loved The Butterfly Effect but it didn't do well at the box office. No one seems to like Ashton Kutcher but I thought he did an excellent job in this particular movie.
I've always been just left of center!

The Matrix trilogy. I thought it was pretentious bullshit with a paper-thin plot.
LOTR. Like Randal said in Clerks 2: "Three movies about walking"

I'm with you on LOTR and Eyes Wide Shut (Tom Cruise looked so much like my Dad in that movie it freaked me out!) but I LOVE:
Rocky Horror
Monty Python
Star Wars (the first three!)
Lost in Translation etc.
Other films I can't stand are any of the Naked Gun films and in general any spoof type films (Robin Hood- Men in Tights, Blazing Sadles, Spaceballs etc etc) and I HATE Carry On films but Fussy adores them.
By the way, great thread idea WI. x

My heart is broken! Next thing you know, you'll be telling me you don't like the 3 Stooges either!

"Titanic"....hm, when the Bear I married asked me if I wanted to see the movie, I replied
"No need. i was there."
"What?"
"I was there. You know, when the Germans blew it up."
"WHAT?!"
Thing was, several years before, I had participated in a LARP (Live-Action Role-Playing game) that had us all as passengers on the Titanic. In this particular game, there could have been four different ways for the Titanic to sink, including the iceberg thing.
But some German agents managed to set off a time bomb before the iceberg ever came around.
Nope, movie didn't get it right.
