For anyone adding chocolate chips/chunks (white or otherwise) if you toss them in a little bit of flour before you add them to the mix, it will keep them from all sinking to the bottom -- that is true of any baked item that you add them to.

Anelectric beater and a mixer are not quite the same thing PF. Am electic beater is hand held where as a mixer sits on a stand.
